When you choose to traverse in both countries, the 4×4 land cruiser V8/Gx will be the best option for you and this safari may start from Uganda and end in Kenya and the reverse is true. You will receive the car from Entebbe international airport, drive to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, Murchison Falls National Park, kidepo National Park, Pian Upe game reserve and then cross boarder starting with Nairobi national park, Lake Nakuru national park as well as Masai Mara national park. With your rooftop tent car, you will be able to camp with in the area of your interest bringing near to your next destination.

Once you receive your 4×4 rooftop tent jeep, drive to nakasongola and camp with in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Early morning after break fast, you will go for rhino tracking allowing you to experience the majesty of these creatures up-close where an experienced ranger will lead you on foot to see them at a safe distance of not less than 6-7 meters away. The experience is worth your time giving you the opportunity to see other animals like the Uganda Kobs, oribis, waterbucks, bushbucks, among others. Back to camp and prepare a meal.

Early in the morning, take a canoe ride for the shoebill stork one of the sought-after prehistoric bird species. The shoebill stork is unique and found in places with water in most cases. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is one of the places to spot the shoebill. On a lucky day, you could see up to 10 of them. To search and see the shoebill, the early morning shoebill trek, and canoe ride is best suitable with sights of the sunrise. You must spend the night within the park since the activity starts early before the entrance to the park is opened. It is a must for you to camp with in the ranch.

Embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park and on arrival, you will visit the top of the Nile. You will experience the thunderous roar as the water forces its way through the gorge before falling 42 meters below is one of the most memorable moments while in the park. Take off to the camping group where you will prepare your dinner and overnight in the rooftop tent car.

Early morning after break fast, embark on a game drive and a boat cruise in the afternoon. While on a 3-hour game rive to Murchison Falls, expect to spot animals like buffaloes, crocodiles, elephants, giraffes, Hippopotamus, Leopards, lions, Monitor lizards, Side Striped Jackals, Spotted Hyenas and warthogs.

Take a boat cruise at the bottom of the cruise. The cruise lasts about 3 hours starting and ending at the bottom of the falls. The top of the falls offers a breathtaking view of the waterfall and the loud roars coming from the water rushing down to the river. You can also see buffaloes, elephants and various species of antelopes drinking by the shores of the river. Back to camp for dinner and over night in your rooftop tent car.

Embark on your journey to kidepo national park camping direct in the park. A Game drive is the main activity that entice you to come on Uganda safaris. Animals seen in Kidepo include lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, jackals, warthogs and different types of antelopes that include the beautiful klipspringer.

If you are interested in birds, be sure to see the superb sterling, Ostrich, Abyssinian Roller, Purple Heron, Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, Clapperton’s Francolin which is only found here. The list of the many bird species goes on and on.

Take a visit to Kanangorok Hot Springs which provide magnificent views of the mountain ranges. After a challenging walk-through long grasses and thorny bushes, you can relax and marvel at the outstretched grassy plains and surrounding mountain ranges, and of course the sight of the 50°C water flowing between dark-coloured rocks. Some locals believe the water to have healing powers, which is why they bathe in it. Back to camping ground for dinner and overnight at your rooftop tent jeep.

Early morning after break fast, transfer to Pian Upe for yet another experience in this reserve. Expect to see zebras, elands, gazelles and oribi. Other animals include spotted hyenas, civets, jackals, serval cats, cheetahs, leopards, Topi, wildcats, buffaloes, roan antelopes, reebucks, Duikers, Ugandan Kob, waterbucks, hares, porcupines, the rock hyrax, aardvark and hedgehogs.

Embark on your journey to Kenya which involves boarder crossing requiring to present those papers which show that you are allowed to enter into Kenya. Transfer to Nairobi national park hosting a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Overnight in one of its campsites.

Transfer to lake Nakuru national park for its known flamingos as well as other animals turning the lake into pink colour. It is also an excellent spot for wildlife spotting and is home to many water loving animals like hippos and many more. Lake Nakuru is one of the best spots to watch rhinos up close and personal. The park has 70 white rhinos and 25 black rhinos giving an excellent opportunity for the visitors to see these endangered giants in the wild. Overnight at one of the camp sites around.

Transfer to masai mara national park known for the famous wildebeest migration. Witness one of the most spectacular events of nature, the wildebeest migration the mass movement of over a million plus animals including wildebeest, antelope, Zebra and the Big Cats such as Lion from Serengeti into Masai Mara. The migration is actually a continuous year long clockwise movement encompassing Serengeti in Tanzania and Masai Mara in Kenya, influenced by a number of factors including weather, pasture and mating-birthing cycles. This is the main activity in this park bringing a great number of travellers. Once you are done with your safari, our representative will pick the car from where you agreed to drop it.
